Clipboard manager for Mac

Take a screenshot.Press ⌘V.That's it.

On a Mac, a screenshot turns into a thumbnail in the corner and a file on the Desktop. You drag it before it slides away, or dig it out later. Copyslate puts every screenshot on your clipboard the moment you take it. Everything you copy waits one key away with , and floats your references over any app.

Free to download. Canvas and Pins are free for 7 days, then $9.99 once. Mac App Store: in review.

Copyslate's clipboard history panel with a screenshot, a message, a link and a Terminal command

The screenshot you just took is in the wrong place.

Press and the screenshot shrinks into a thumbnail at the bottom right, then lands on the Desktop as a file. Your clipboard has nothing. Copyslate leaves all of that alone and adds one thing: the screenshot is on your clipboard the moment it is taken. Press in Figma, Slack or Mail and it is there.

A Mac on its own. The thumbnail waits in the corner, then the screenshot becomes a file on the Desktop. Your clipboard has nothing.
With Copyslate. Same thumbnail, same file on the Desktop. But the screenshot is also on your clipboard the moment it's taken: ⌘V pastes it anywhere. It stays in your ⌥V history too, and ⌥⇧V drops it onto the floating canvas.

The Mac App Store version asks once for access to your screenshot folder. The version from copyslate.com finds it on its own.

Three shortcuts. That is the whole app.

Screenshot, already copied.

Every screenshot goes to your clipboard the moment you take it. Paste it anywhere.

Everything you copied.

Text, links, images and files, newest first. Type to search, Return to use it, ⌘P to pin it.

References that float.

Your latest screenshot lands on a canvas that stays above Blender, Figma or Photoshop.

Skips password managers. Pause any time. Everything stays on your Mac.

One shortcut. Then type, then Return.

History opens where you are. Nothing to switch to, nothing to arrange.

Text, links, images and files, newest first. Screenshots are copied the moment you take them, so they're already here.

Find that command from last week, the address you keep re-copying, the link from the meeting.

Return copies the item and closes the panel. Paste where you were. Press ⌘P instead to pin it.

A canvas that floats over your work.

Press and your latest screenshot lands on a board that stays on top of whatever you are working in. Keep references beside your model. Build a mood board without leaving the app.

Scroll to see it happen.

Every image gets handles.

Arrange a board the way you'd arrange prints on a wall. Zoom in close to check a detail, and undo anything.

Photos, screenshots, a color, a note. Drop them in, nudge them around, and the board is ready to show someone. Try rearranging this one.

Pin what you use often.

Your address, a signature, that one terminal command. Pinned items wait at the bottom of the panel and never scroll away. Tap a pin to try it.

Boards are files.

A canvas saves as a .slate file. Open it and everything is where you left it. Finder shows a preview, so a folder of boards reads like a folder of prints. Send one to a colleague with Copyslate and they get the whole board.

Built for people who screenshot all day.

Designers

Grab a reference, press ⌥⇧V, keep designing. Paste the screenshot into Figma or Slack without touching the Desktop.

3D artists

Pin a board of references above Blender or Cinema 4D. Flip, rotate and zoom in on a detail while you model.

Architects

Collect plans, materials and site photos on one floating board. Save it as a .slate file next to the project.

Developers

The command from last week, the token you keep re-copying, the error screenshot for the ticket. ⌥V, type, Return.
