Who we are
Copyslate is made and sold by AICHROM PRIVATE LIMITED, a company registered in India ("we", "us"). You can reach us through the support page.
The software
Copyslate is a clipboard manager for macOS. Clipboard history and automatic screenshot copying are free. Canvas and Pins can be tried free for 7 days and are then unlocked by a one-time purchase, either on the Mac App Store or on copyslate.com. There is no subscription and no account.
Buying on copyslate.com
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
The full version costs $9.99, paid once, plus any tax that applies in your country, which Paddle shows before you pay. After payment you receive a license key on the confirmation page and a receipt from Paddle by email. Every update to Copyslate is included; there is nothing further to pay.

Buying on the Mac App Store
Purchases made inside the Mac App Store version are sold by Apple under Apple's terms. Apple handles payment, receipts and refunds for those purchases, and your purchase is tied to your Apple Account.
Your license
When you buy the full version you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Copyslate on Macs you own or control. A license key issued on copyslate.com is yours to use; it is not to be shared publicly, resold or given away. We may cancel a key that is published, shared beyond one person, obtained by fraud, or whose payment is reversed by a chargeback. You may not reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it regardless of this term.
Refunds
Purchases on copyslate.com can be refunded in full within 14 days, no questions asked. The refund policy says how. Mac App Store purchases are refunded by Apple.
Updates and changes
We may change Copyslate over time, add features, remove features or stop developing it. Updates are free. If a change would take away something you paid for, we will say so in the release notes.
Your data
Copyslate stores your clipboard history and canvases on your Mac and uploads nothing. The privacy policy describes this, and what is stored when you buy on copyslate.com.
No warranty, limited liability
Copyslate is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, including that it will be error-free or suit a particular purpose, and our total liability to you for anything arising from the app or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights that the law gives you and that cannot be limited by agreement.
Ending the license
Your license ends if you break these terms. You can end it at any time by deleting the app. Terms that by their nature should survive, such as the limits on liability, do.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes about them are for the courts of India, without affecting consumer rights you have where you live. Your contract of sale for a copyslate.com purchase is with Paddle and governed by Paddle's buyer terms.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, the new version is posted here with its effective date. Changes do not apply to purchases made before them.
